Accelerating Development and Aerodynamic Testing

The development of military and surveillance drones involves long and costly design cycles. With Lines Sonic, large-scale drones can now be produced quickly for wind tunnel testing and real-world simulation and validation. Large-format additive manufacturing enables rapid design iterations, optimizing aerodynamics, stealth, and sensor integration without the constraints of traditional manufacturing methods.

High-Performance Materials for Extreme Requirements

Lines Sonic processes advanced technical polymers, including certified materials tailored to aerospace standards. These industry-validated materials provide high mechanical strength, low density, and resistance to extreme temperatures, making them ideal for military prototypes and tactical drones. While our technology enables rapid prototyping and aerodynamic validation, the selection of final-use materials must be tailored to meet operational and environmental requirements for fully deployed drones, ensuring compliance with aerospace constraints. They can also be adapted for special surface treatments such as radar-absorbing coatings or metallization. These are critical considerations that Lines actively addresses, empowering clients with the right solutions.

Scaling Up for Operational Deployment

One of the key challenges for defense manufacturers is transitioning from prototyping to full-scale production. With Lines Sonic, manufacturers have the flexibility to rapidly iterate through multiple prototype designs or to produce fully functional 3D-printed components tailored to their specific requirements. Delivering industrial-grade production capability, Lines Sonic can manufacture large drone components at speeds of up to 5.000 parts per year. By reducing lead times and production costs, we enable faster deployment and increased flexibility in evolving military programs.
